Set in beautiful grounds, this hotel in Paignton is situated in a desirable location on Paignton’s Esplanade and directly opposite Paignton Seafront, with the town centre only a short walk away.
The hotel offers secure parking, efficient and professional service and tastefully decorated en-suite bedrooms, many with sea views. Our leisure facilities include a fully equipped gym, indoor heated pool and beauty treatment rooms and are open to all our guests to enjoy. An extensive food and wine menu will provide the perfect dining experience with a mouth-watering selection of dishes and desserts.

If you are looking to organise a Family Get together, a sports tour, motorbike or car club get together, private event or just friends getting together then we will be more than happy to see you. We are extremely lucky to have a large car park.

All rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and are equipped with beverage making facilities, a flat screen TV and free wi-fi. There is a lift to most floors, limited onsite car parking, porter service upon request as well as disabled facilities.

The palace gave us a very warm welcome, and the accommodation was excellent. More to the point, the value for money was exceptional for the quality. The cost was £72.50 per person, per day, and included dinner, bed and breakfast.
Next year, they have offered us the same deal at the slightly increased cost of £75.00 per person, with the same added supplement of £20 for the banquet.
The choice of menu was good and the quality of food excellent. The staff were smart, efficient and very helpful.
Those that couldn’t attend and have told me, are Lionel Fisher, Pete Edgerton, Alan Holmes, Fred Warren, Phil Price, Keith Rowbottom, Ed Beswick. If I’ve missed anyone who tendered their apologies, forgive me. Anyway, you missed a great weekend.

Rooms
All our 75 bedrooms are en-suite and are equipped with beverage making facilities, a TV, and free wi-fi. There is a lift to all floors and most of our rooms have shower cubicles. We offer a selection of room types:

Accessibility
Level access from the road and car park to Reception and the Bar Lounge. All our rooms are lift accessible with a few ground floor rooms available upon request and most of our rooms have shower cubicles. We do have some disabled friendly facilities at the hotel, and we welcome everyone. However, to see whether we are suitable to meet your requirements, please contact the hotel.
Restaurant
The Balmoral Restaurant is spacious, light, and comfortable.
Where possible we try to source our products locally. The restaurant offers full waiter service so all you need to do is sit back, relax, and enjoy your evening meal. Evening meals are served from 18h30 until 20h30 every day. Breakfast is served at 8h00 or 9h00 Monday to Friday and at 8h30 or 9h30 on Saturday and Sunday. Groups are allocated a time slot and dine at tables of 2’s, 4’s 6’s or 8’s. Seating plans are welcome.
We cater for most dietary requirements; we request that these are advised prior to arrival.
The Bar Lounge
The Bar lounge is open from 10am until midnight every day. We serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, so why not enjoy a beer on the terrace or order a cocktail and relax in the comfortable bar or quieter TV Lounge. Light bites and sandwiches are available to order between 12h00 and 15h00, hot meals available until 14h00. We also offer traditional Devonshire cream teas between 12h00 and 17h00.
